Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation and innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate foresight into product development and business planning
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future trends
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and technological disruptions with impact potential
- Design and implement horizon-scanning frameworks for early trend detection
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented at scale
- Experience with cross-cultural trend analysis and global market dynamics
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
