Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and global trends to forecast industry transformations through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning based on future scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and execution priorities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content to establish industry authority
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate experimental projects with 5-10 year horizons
- Monitor competitive landscapes and disruptors to identify strategic inflection points
- Quantify future market opportunities through data modeling and scenario analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong data visualization skills with tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Exceptional written communication with published thought leadership in futurism
- Experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for tech-forward organizations
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or trend forecasting work
