Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive foresight frameworks identifying disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to prepare organization for multiple future outcomes across tech, policy, and consumer behavior domains
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future intelligence into strategic decision-making processes
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and board members
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Design and implement horizon-scanning processes to continuously identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to communicate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects that influenced organizational strategy
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research abilities with proficiency in futures analysis tools
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or innovation strategy (articles, books, reports)
