Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop technology roadmaps aligning innovation with market demands and business objectives
- Produce foresight reports and scenario analyses for executive leadership teams
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable strategies
- Advise on R&D investments in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Strong communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published work in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology strategy implementations
