Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruptions and innovation opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry pioneers
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments impacting future tech ecosystems
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of innovation within the technology division
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating into business strategy
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience working with agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy preferred
