Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for next-generation AI systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into AI lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional workshops on responsible AI adoption and deployment
- Research emerging ethical challenges in AGI, quantum computing, and neural interfaces
- Shape industry standards through white papers and policy advocacy
- Mentor junior researchers on ethical AI principles and practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years applying ethical frameworks to AI/ML systems in regulated industries
- Expertise in algorithmic fairness, explainable AI (XAI), and bias mitigation techniques
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Proficiency in Python and statistical analysis tools for bias quantification
- Experience publishing peer-reviewed research on AI ethics and governance
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
