Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues for employees, including PC setups, printer configuration, and software installation.
- Help Desk Support: Assist the IT team in responding to user tickets via our internal ticketing system.
- Network Assistance: Help maintain a stable network environment by performing basic cable management and assisting with Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Accurately log all support tickets, resolutions, and asset inventory in our database.
- Hardware Deployment: Support the setup and configuration of new laptops, monitors, and peripherals for incoming staff.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing company security policies and ensuring devices are up-to-date with the latest patches.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot common tech issues and think critically under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including some flexibility for evening shifts if needed.
- Reliability: A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
