Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Produce actionable trend reports and scenario-planning models for 2026+ strategic initiatives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating future insights into pilot programs
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing futures research team
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry think tanks
- Integrate foresight methodologies into corporate strategy processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend analysis and scenario planning implementations
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS, STRAT) strongly preferred
