Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for C-suite executives and Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author whitepapers and keynote presentations at global tech summits
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable business roadmaps
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Mentor a team of junior futurists and researchers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial success
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level gravitas
- Global network of industry experts and academic collaborators
