Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast market opportunities through 2030
- Develop and maintain Horizon's proprietary horizon scanning framework using AI-powered data synthesis and qualitative research
- Design strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 transformation goals and stakeholder KPIs
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and cross-functional teams to influence strategic decisions
- Lead scenario planning workshops to stress-test business strategies against potential futures
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating future insights into revenue-generating strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., TrendWatching, Gartner) and data visualization platforms
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, industry journals, keynotes)
