Responsibilities
- Support patient admission/discharge processes during night shifts
- Assist with medical documentation and data entry in EMR systems
- Coordinate with night shift nursing teams for patient care needs
- Participate in departmental safety audits and compliance checks
- Shadow department heads to understand operational workflows
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a healthcare-related degree program
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Availability to work 3+ night shifts per week (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background clearance required
