Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues reported by internal clients and end-users.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of system changes, incidents, and maintenance activities in our internal wiki.
- Deployment Support: Participate in the deployment of software patches and updates under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing security protocols and performing routine vulnerability checks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements for night operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Academic Standing: Must have completed at least 2 years of coursework and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or SQL is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest: A strong desire to learn about IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
