Responsibilities
- Support 24/7 system monitoring and incident response during night shifts
- Assist with network infrastructure testing and security vulnerability scans
- Collaborate on cross-functional DevOps pipelines for deployment automation
- Document technical processes and create knowledge base articles
- Participate in sprint retrospectives and agile ceremonies
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues using diagnostic tools
- Shadow senior engineers during critical system maintenance windows
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related bachelor's program
- Basic proficiency in Python, Linux, or networking fundamentals
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Available to commit to 20-30 hours weekly during academic term
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
