Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Collaborate with the engineering team to design, code, and test software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in existing codebases.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise technical documentation and API documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Agile Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to contribute to team velocity and project goals.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure product reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++). Experience with web development (React, Angular, Node.js) is a plus.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git), RESTful APIs, and databases (SQL, MongoDB).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available for a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) for the duration of the internship.
