Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing software applications using Python, Java, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on agile development projects
- Conduct research on emerging tech trends and present findings to the team
- Support data analysis and visualization projects using SQL and Tableau
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation
- Shadow senior engineers to understand full development lifecycle
- Present project outcomes during quarterly showcases
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week during academic terms
- Comfortable with collaborative tools like Slack and Jira
- Available to start between June 1st - September 1st, 2024
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
