Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Summer Intern to join our team in Philadelphia. This is a paid internship opportunity designed for students to gain hands-on experience in the retail sector. You will be responsible for supporting our weekend operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
As part of our team, you will work directly with store management to drive sales and maintain a welcoming environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide top-tier customer service during weekend shifts.
- Support the store team in visual merchandising and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
- Process sales transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory counts.
- Collaborate with management to execute weekend promotions and special events.
- Handle cash handling procedures and end-of-day reconciliation reports.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a high school diploma or college/university program.
- Must have reliable transportation and be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with retail software.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for retail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
