Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of web and mobile applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews with senior engineers.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to improve system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define and implement features.
- Contribute to technical documentation and update project wikis.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C++, Java).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) or databases (SQL, MongoDB) is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Must be available to work full-time for the duration of the summer (May through August).
