Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and AI specialists
- Develop novel neural network architectures leveraging quantum parallelism
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from government/private institutions
- Architect ethical frameworks for quantum-AI decision systems
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Published research in quantum computing or AI (h-index ≥20)
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in neural topology optimization
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-disciplinary research teams
- Knowledge of quantum error correction protocols
