Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms leveraging 50+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks for pattern recognition in big data
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Optimize quantum circuits for error correction and scalability beyond NISQ limitations
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum/AI conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong Python/C++ skills with experience in high-performance computing environments
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Familiarity with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
