Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization and pattern recognition
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum AI systems on D-Wave and IBM quantum processors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve NP-hard problems in cryptography and materials science
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum AI libraries
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and error correction techniques
- Strong background in machine learning, particularly reinforcement learning or neural networks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Published research in quantum computing or AI at top-tier conferences
- Ability to secure US government security clearance (post-hire)
