Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world problem-solving
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants and patents
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing specialization
- Collaborate with DARPA and DoE on national quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published work in quantum machine learning or error correction
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong Python/C++ proficiency with HPC experience
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Track record of securing federal research grants
