Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization and prediction tasks
- Lead interdisciplinary teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Author groundbreaking research papers for Nature/Science journals and top-tier conferences
- Translate theoretical quantum concepts into practical enterprise solutions with 99.9% reliability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and interns in quantum-computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning in Q1 journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven ability to secure competitive research grants (NSF, DOE, or equivalent)
- Experience mentoring researchers and managing complex technical projects
