Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum circuits optimized for error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm design for cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Validate quantum system performance through advanced benchmarking protocols
- Translate quantum research into patentable intellectual property
- Mentor quantum engineering teams in cutting-edge methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum computing architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant designs
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance classical computing architectures
