Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical infrastructure
- Lead research on novel quantum algorithms for enterprise applications
- Optimize quantum hardware performance through advanced control systems
- Document architectural blueprints and quantum system specifications
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit technology or photonic systems
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
