Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with error rates below 0.1%
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical supercomputing infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance qubit stability and coherence times
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at quantum technology conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and computational physics
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
