Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software with physical qubit systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum error correction protocols
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry partners
- Author patents for novel quantum methodologies and systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with quantum specialization
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategies
