Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum hardware architectures with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Secure patents for novel quantum gate implementations
- Advise C-suite on quantum technology adoption roadmaps
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams of 10+ engineers
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
