Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Lead development of error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Present technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms including superconducting and photonic systems
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience securing venture capital for advanced research initiatives
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex quantum concepts to non-technical audiences
