Responsibilities
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop error correction protocols achieving 99.9% qubit fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Establish industry standards for quantum-safe cryptography implementation
- Partner with hardware teams to integrate photonic and superconducting processors
- Present quarterly breakthroughs to federal research agencies and Fortune 100 partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review X)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
