Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development for industrial applications
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across physics, software, and hardware engineering
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Secure $50M+ in government/industry grants for quantum initiatives
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics/Science
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum algorithm design
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of quantum computing architecture experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems (10mK+ environments)
- Strong knowledge of quantum machine learning frameworks
