Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with fault-tolerant capabilities
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems for enterprise applications
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Develop quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum system architecture
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Proven track record of leading complex R&D projects in quantum technologies
