Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and qubit stability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate operations and coherence times
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum machine learning solutions
- Document quantum system architectures and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Advise product strategy on quantum computing roadmaps for 2026+ implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research or developing commercial quantum applications
- Familiarity with NISQ-era limitations and strategies for overcoming them
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing architectures
- Certification in quantum computing from recognized institutions (e.g., IBM Quantum, Microsoft Quantum)
