Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial-scale deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols for client data infrastructure
- Research and prototype novel quantum error correction techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum systems architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Azure Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Proven leadership in delivering complex technical projects
