Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving <10-9 logical error rates
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Architect secure quantum communication networks with zero-knowledge encryption
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Present breakthroughs at international quantum computing symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Experience securing federal quantum computing contracts (preferred)
