Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and materials science
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum gate fidelity beyond 99.9%
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate and characterize quantum processors
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural network acceleration
- Mentor junior engineers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Partner with clients to implement quantum solutions in finance and pharmaceuticals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Published research in quantum computing or equivalent industry contributions
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (QASM, Quil)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
