Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at industry conferences
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to open-source quantum computing projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum research
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, Amazon Braket)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced R&D environments
