Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop error-corrected quantum systems
- Lead research on quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026 applications
- Publish findings in leading journals and present at global tech conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D grants through federal and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum computing frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or top-tier AI conferences
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or ion trap systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
