Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers to achieve quantum advantage
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems targeting 2026 deployment
- Secure $10M+ in quantum research grants and patents
- Pioneer hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for commercial applications
- Present findings at global quantum summits and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor next-generation quantum researchers through our fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and hardware platforms
- Proven track record of leading quantum projects with measurable outcomes
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience securing federal or corporate quantum research funding
