Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for commercial applications targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Collaborate with Nobel Prize-winning physicists to advance quantum error correction techniques
- Manage a team of 12+ quantum researchers and engineers
- Secure $15M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for quantum initiatives
- Develop patentable quantum computing architectures
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients on quantum integration roadmaps
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ systems
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Experience managing multi-million dollar research budgets
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography and post-quantum security
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum systems
