Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for commercial applications targeting 2026 deployment
- Mentor a team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with Intel, IBM, and Google on quantum hardware integration
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in logistics and pharmaceuticals
- Present findings at international quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm implementation experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Strong knowledge of Shor's/Grover's algorithms and quantum supremacy
