Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications in cryptography and materials science
- Architect scalable quantum hardware architectures with error-correction systems
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Manage a team of 15+ quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research funding
- Develop quantum-safe security protocols for next-gen infrastructure
- Collaborate with NASA, IBM, and MIT on quantum-integrated space systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research with published papers
- Expertise in superconducting qubits and topological quantum computing
- Experience leading R&D teams with $10M+ budgets
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Strong track record of commercializing quantum technologies
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Fluency in quantum error correction methodologies
