Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead prototype testing of quantum hardware components at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with materials science teams to engineer qubit architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience

- Published research in quantum information science or quantum computing
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum measurement systems
