Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures and error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure and manage federal and private quantum research grants
- Translate theoretical concepts into scalable quantum hardware solutions
- Advise C-suite on quantum technology commercialization strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and frameworks
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum simulation tools and hardware integration
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures (HPC)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
