Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead experimental research in quantum hardware and error correction techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world applications
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks and optimize quantum circuit performance
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and artificial intelligence integration
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Proven track record of published research in quantum computing or quantum algorithms
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex computational problems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (ion traps, superconducting qubits, photonic systems)
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations
