Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error-correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to enhance quantum processor stability
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure federal and private research grants ($500K+ annually)
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
