Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier scientific journals
- Optimize quantum error correction codes for scalable hardware
- Partner with quantum hardware teams to bridge software-hardware gaps
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (QASM, OpenFermion)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
