Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experiments on quantum error correction and hardware optimization
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quantum-cloud integration
- Mentor junior researchers and secure NSF/DARPA grants
- Develop quantum security protocols for 2026-era infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Experience with superconducting/photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
