Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware team to bridge theoretical models with practical quantum systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at quantum computing conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects to develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Secure research funding through NSF and DoD grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Familiarity with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion platforms
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
