Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-corrected quantum systems using superconducting qubits and photonic architectures
- Lead collaborative research projects with academic and industry partners
- Publish high-impact papers in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Translate theoretical quantum mechanics into scalable hardware solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit or Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware or photonic systems
