Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop error mitigation techniques for near-term quantum devices
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-ML hybrid frameworks
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure research grants from DARPA and NSF initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publications in Nature/Science journals
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
